Founded in 1951, Donghua University (DHU) is one of the 75 universities under the direct management of the Ministry of Education of China. It provides various popular non-degree Chinese language programs on its downtown campus in Shanghai. In 2018, our Chinese language programs were accredited by EAQUALS (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services) for the high teaching quality and management.

The Online Chinese program for the fall semester of 2022 is now open for registration. Applicants who satisfy the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship selection criteria will received the scholarship that cover the full tuition. Limited seats are offered on a first-come-first-served basis!

Program Freatures

✔ Break the geographical restriction and  provide you with free opportunities to learn Chinese online if you are not in China;  

✔ Flexible course management and diverse teaching methods such as live streaming, recordings, Q&As and online activities provide you a better online learning experience.；

✔ Integrate language learning with cultural experience in the course design. Develop your professional Chinese and Chinese cultural knowledge to enrich your Chinese study experience.；

✔ We assure the high teaching quality by strictly following the EAQUALS Accreditation standards, adapting self-compiled textbooks with focus practical application, providing sufficient online teaching resources and supports from teaching assistants.

Application Requirement

● Online Chinese Language Study (one semester): 

Scholarships will be given priority to applicants with HSK level 2 or above language qualification.

● Funding Content:

The scholarship will cover the tuition fees for international students who satisfy the International Chinese Lauguage Teacher Scholarship selection criteria.

How to Apply

1. Apply online via https://admissions.dhu.edu.cn/ with your personal information and choose ‘Online Chinese Language Program’.

2. Upload the required document. Submit the required HSK certificate via email.

3. Wait for your admission result. The scholarship will cover the tuition fees for students who satisfy the scholarship selection criteria.

4. Application deadline: July 13th, 2022
