香港中文大学(深圳)2月17日开始进行网上教学

亲爱的同学们:

 

近期,新型冠状病毒疫情蔓延全国,我校已发出推迟春季开学时间的通知。按照政府有关部门的部署,我校已推迟了2020年春季学期的开学时间至不早于2月24日,具体开学日期另行通知。

 

为了不让疫情影响同学们的学业,大学一直在积极部署春季学期的各项教学方案。经研究,大学现决定如下的线上教学安排:

 

1、线上教学将从2020年2月17日起开始;待开学时,学生回校园后,线上教学终止,课程将转成正常(线下)教学模式。

 

2、本次线上教学安排适用于除实验课和体育课外的所有本科和研究生课程以及兼职课程。实验课和体育课的安排将在之后制定并通过邮件告知。

 

3、大学为师生提供线上学习系统Blackboard,网络视频平台Panopto以及直播教学系统Zoom进行线上教学活动。

 

4、资讯科技服务处将会提供系统使用的指导和技术支援,更多细节将在之后通过邮件告知。

 

5、学校将于2020年2月17至23日为受疫情影响的同学重开加退课系统,具体安排由教务处另行通知。

 

6、关于线上教学的更多细节,请师生们密切注意查收相关邮件。

 

由于本次线上教学为非常时期的对策,肯定有不够完善之处,请同学们理解,并随时向学校有关部门提出意见。

CUHK-Shenzhen starts 

online teaching and learning from February 17

January 31, 2020

In light of the latest development of the Novel Coronavirus and the government’s requirements, the University has announced the deferment of the start date of Term 2 to February 24th 2020 or after. Meanwhile, the University has been making every effort in preparing various plans in order to minimize the impacts on our students’ academic pursuits. The University has now decided to launch an online teaching and learning plan as follows:


1. Online teaching and learning will start from February 17th and will remain effective until the term is resumed and students return to the campus, when classes will be switched to the normal face-to-face mode.


2. The online teaching and learning arrangements will be applied to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as part-time programmes, except lab courses and physical education classes. Arrangements regarding lab and physical education classes will be made later. 


3. The University will provide Blackboard, an e-learning system, Panopto, an online video platform, and Zoom, a real-time live teaching system, for all instructors and students to carry out the online teaching and learning activities.


4. The Information and Technology Services Office (ITSO) will provide guidance and technical support for the use of these systems. Further details on technical support will be made available through email.


5. To cater for the needs of students who are affected, online course add/drop for courses offered in Term 2 will be activated once again from February 17-23, 2020Specific arrangements in this respect will be notified by the Registry Office.


6. Further details regarding online teaching and learning arrangements shall be notified in email. 

 

The University appreciates very much the understanding of our students on the above online teaching and learning arrangements adopted in this special time, and welcomes any valuable suggestions and feedback for improvement.
