• Lower the price of international long-distance calls and international direct dial (IDD).

• Lower the price of business line access. Launch discounting products and provide specific discounts so as to lower the cost of Internet access for enterprises.

• Lower the price of voice calls and GPRS roaming among 64 countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. The cost of international voice calls will be 0.99RMB/min.

The 64 countries are:

• The bandwidth of fix-line broadband will be twice wider than before. That is, it will be 200MB, 100MB wider than before because of increasingly demand of wider bandwidth in large- and medium-size cities. And “A Thousand MB” project is in the pilot phase.

• Twice faster 4G network rate than before. Improve network quality and extend network range so as to uplift surfing experience. Peak network rate will be up to 600Mbps (300Mbps faster than before) in some specific areas.

• Lower the price of international long-distance calls and international roaming.

• Largely lower the price of internet access of small- and medium-size enterprises.

• Lower the price of international long-distance calls as well as calls to HK, Macau, and Taiwan.

• Lower the price of long-distance calls to North America, Europe, South Asia and 64 countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

We can see that besides from eliminating fees of domestic long-distance calls and roaming, the three operators also intend to lower the cost of international long-distance calls and uplift network rate.

Nowadays, if you make a phone call from outside country to China, you need to pay 0.08USD/min. On the contrary, you need to pay 0.015USD/min on average if you make calls from China to overseas countries. However, the three Chinese operations still lower price of international long-distance calls!
