写作中句子开头的变化可以使句子结构更为多样化。该句中的副词undoubtedly修饰整个句子，表示说话人对全句的看法，在意思上相当于it is undoubted that...这样的副词在英语句子中还有很多，比如：obviously（显然地）、interestingly（有趣地）、apparently（显然地）、fortunately（幸运地）、incredibly（难以置信地）、unluckily（不幸地）、surprisingly（令人吃惊地）、frighteningly（令人恐惧地）等等。
