为促进欧洲华侨华人研究与华文教育高质量发展，探讨新时代、新科技、新形势下欧洲华人社会与华文教育的发展趋势，温州大学华侨学院与中欧研究平台（CERPE）携手，拟定于2022年8月15－17日通过线上、线下相结合的方式共同举办“欧洲华侨华人与华文教育”国际研讨会，诚邀海内外学者和教育专家参加。

参会详情

六、论文要求

1．语言：中文、英文。

2．有意参会者请提交约500字论文摘要，约150字个人简介。中文论文格式参考《华侨华人历史研究》杂志“投稿须知”，英文论文格式参考Chicago style。文末请注明所在单位、详细通讯地址、邮编、联系方式和电子邮箱。

3．提交方式：有意参会者请将论文摘要或全文电子版以附件形式发送至：CERPEWZU@hotmail.com。

电子邮件主题（中文或英文）：姓名+摘要/全文。

邮件附件：姓名+论文题目。

七、会议形式

1．会议规模初定为200人。会务组将组织国内外知名学者对拟参会论文进行匿名评审，并对入选者发出会议邀请。

2．会议采取线下召开、线上直播的方式，具体信息请关注“温州大学华侨学院”公众号和“中欧研究平台”网页（https://projects.au.dk/cerpe/）。

3．研讨会将安排每位发言人15分钟宣读论文。

4．研讨会将从提交论文中遴选若干高质量论文推荐给中英文学术期刊。

八、重要时间

1．提交摘要截止时间：2022年

2．发送入选参会者通知：2022年5月1日。

3．提交论文全文截止时间：2022年7月15日。

九、会务费、食宿与交通

1．会议不收取会务费。

2．会议主办方提供线下会议期间的工作餐。

3．往返交通费和住宿费请自理。

4．会议主办方将在会议期间可能的情况下安排侨乡调研。

5．会议主办方将在7月份提供会议推荐酒店信息。

The 5th CERPE International Workshop

and The 2nd Conference on Overseas Chinese Education in Europe 

「Call for Papers」

【Overseas Chinese and Overseas Chinese Education in Europe】

To promote high-quality research on overseas Chinese migration in Europe and overseas Chinese education, and to explore new trends and developments in the context of a new era, new technologies and new global situation the China-Europe Research Platform (CERPE) and the Overseas Chinese College of Wenzhou University have joined in co-hosting the hybrid international symposium on "Overseas Chinese and Overseas Chinese Education in Europe". Scholars and educational experts in China and abroad are sincerely invited to participate in this joint academic event.

Conference Details

VI.Submission of Paper Proposals and Full Papers

1.Working languages: English and Chinese

2.Paper proposals should include a maximum 500-word abstract, a 150-word personal bio and a publication list of no more than two pages including contact information (email, mobile number, WeChat). Abstract, personal bio and a publication list should be submitted as a single file in Microsoft Word (**.doc or **.docx) format by April 1, 2022. 

3.Paper format: As for the Chinese papers, please refer to the "Submission Instructions" of "Research on Overseas Chinese History", and for the English papers, please refer to Chicago style. At the end of the article, please indicate the unit, detailed mailing address, zip code, contact information (email, mobile number, WeChat). 

4.How to submit paper proposal and full paper: please send the electronic version of the paper proposal and the full paper as an attachment to: CERPEWZU@hotmail.com.

Email subject (Chinese or English): author name + abstract/full paper.

Email attachment: author name + paper title.

VII.Symposium Format

1.The size of the onsite symposium is initially set at 200 people. The conference affairs group will organize well-known scholars at home and abroad to anonymously review the abstract proposals and issue conference invitations to the selected candidates.

2.The symposium will be held online and offline simultaneously. For specific information, please pay attention to the official WeChat account of "Overseas Chinese College of Wenzhou University" and the CERPE website (https://projects.au.dk/cerpe/)

3.The symposium will arrange a 15-minute presentation for each speaker.

4.The symposium will select several high-quality papers from the submitted papers and recommend them to Chinese and English academic journals.

VIII. Important Dates 

1.Paper proposal submission deadline: April 1, 2022

2.The confirmation of participation will be sent by May 1, 2021.

3.Participants should submit their full papers by July 15, 2021. 

IX.Symposium Fee, Accommodation, Transportation and Activities

1.Conference fees are not charged;

2.The organizing institution provides onsite working meals during the symposium;

3.Round-trip transportation and accommodation expenses are not covered by the organizing institution;

4.A field study on hometowns of overseas Chinese is planned after the symposium. More information will be available later.

5.Hotel recommendations will be available on the website of the symposium
