Communication and recording

are indispensable in any adventure. 

With a "pen", stroke by stroke,

learn Chinese, understand China, and

 record every encounter along the way.

Founded in the 1980s, Peking University Chinese Language Summer School (PKUCLSS) has always been committed to providing opportunities for international students and friends to study at PKU, learn Chinese, and discover China. 

In 2023, PKUCLSS will continue to ensure a rewarding learning experience for both domestic and overseas students, with scientific course design, professional teaching teams, effective learning arrangements, and convenient credit transfer.

Apart from learning Chinese in the classroom, PKUCLSS will also take students on a journey to explore China: converse with renowned scholars, walk into the Forbidden City, visit tech companies, discover the miraculous story of the Saihanba Desert turning into an oasis, take in the vast natural scenery of the Inner Mongolia prairie and more!

Since its establishment in 2009, Peking University Summer School International (PKUSSI) has actively expanded its cooperation with world-renowned universities and institutions. 

PKUSSI provides international students with cutting-edge courses covering a variety of disciplines, including innovation & entrepreneurship, business management, international relations, law & society, humanities & history, science & technology, etc.

This year, PKUSSI will offer both online and offline courses from July 3 to July 28. Taught in English by outstanding teachers and scholars from PKU, the engaging courses will provide students with intellectual nourishment.

In addition to enriching classes and lectures, there will also be various interesting and meaningful cultural exchange activities on and off campus.

As strategic partners, Peking University and the University of Chicago have a long and distinguished history of cooperation and exchange. For the summer of 2023, the two universities jointly launch the "PKU-UChicago Summer School".

Top professors from both universities will offer face-to-face instruction and guidance for students, continuing their efforts to promote Sino-US cultural exchanges.

The specific courses are as follows:

Course 2: Monetary Policy and International Finance Program, MPIF

The Globex (Global Educational Exchange) Julmester (July Semester) Program at PKU College of Engineering is a professional mobility program with a worldwide exchange of students from all disciplines.
