1. Where should the degree certificate or professional qualification certificate be certified? Translation needed ?
The degree certificate obtained abroad should be certified by the Chinese embassy or consulate in China where the degree is obtained, or by the applicant's embassy or consulate in China where the degree is obtained, or by the Chinese educational certification institution.
The Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Special Administrative Regions and Taiwan regions can be certified by Chinese academic certification institutions or notarized by local notary institutions. If the highest degree certificate is obtained in China, the original of education and degree certificate shall be provided without translation and certification.
The foreign professional qualification certificate (国外专业资格证明) shall be certified by the Chinese embassy or consulate in China where the degree is obtained, or certified by the embassy or consulate in China where the professional qualification certificate is obtained, or notarized by a notary institution.
If the professional qualification certificate is obtained in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Special Administrative Region and Taiwan, the original shall be notarized by the local notary authority.
2.If your name on the degree certificate is different from that on the passport. What should be provided?
If the marriage surname is changed or the middle name is omitted, the company will issue a statement; In case of name change, the official agency shall issue certification materials.

3. For the application of Type B points, do you need to provide and certify the degree certificate?
If the degree is required to be scored (计分), the degree certificate and certification materials shall be provided, and the non Chinese documents shall also be provided with a translation, which shall be stamped by the unit.
4. Can a foreigner apply for a work permit in China with a commitment for education?
The commitment system is available for Type A, but not for Type B and C. In case of breach of commitment or false commitment, the examination and approval authority has the right to cancel the Foreigner's Work Permit and conduct credit management on the employer.
