专访 | 如何透过由己及他的观想而增进对世界的爱与慈悲
法王噶玛巴接受专访问答
法国《世界宗教》采访者问：
“You spoke about breathing meditation. Is there any other practices to increase our love, our compassion, our respect for the world?”
您谈到呼吸禅修。
还有其它的练习能增进我们对世界的爱、慈悲和尊重吗？

有的。事实上，我们有很多方法可以练习。我们称之为观想，你也可以叫它禅修，也就是用想象力增益我们的生命，让爱和慈悲增长。
因为有时我们的心是（造作狭隘的）。
如您所知，尽管我们人类的智力有着难以置信的能力，但大部分时候，它却仅仅被我们用于满足你我、或一小部分人的自身需求之上。
如果我们能够扩展，或者说开放我们的心，那么我们就能有更宽广的景象，这样我们就能珍惜每个人，每一种生物，乃至一切有情众生。
这就是为什么我们有诸如此类的禅修以训练自心。
比如说，母亲是一种爱和慈悲的象征。我们可以从母亲开始，从母亲开始观想，然后想到一切有情众生，于是，就能想到，或许一切有情众生都如同你的母亲一样。
因为我们活在一个相互依存的世界，每个人都或多或少彼此相互帮助着，或者你也可以说每个人都得依靠于其他人。
我们应当感恩和珍惜一切众生。
Yes. Actually we have lots of sort of… (methods). We call it visualization, or maybe you can say it meditation, imagination, so that we can increase our life, love and compassion.
And I think because sometimes our mind is…(narrow or artificial), You know, even though we human beings have incredible sort of, intelligent, but that is only used…(for self), most of the time, we only use it for yourself or ourselves, or maybe just few people.
If we can expand or maybe we can say open our mind so that we can sort of have bigger picture so that we can cherish everybody, every living creature, all the sentient beings.
That's why we do have this kind of training and meditation, so that maybe… For example, maybe mother is sort of a symbol of love and compassion.
We will start from mother, your mother, then you think every sentient beings, or maybe every living (being), every sentient beings is like your mother. Because we're living in an interdependent world.
Everybody's kind of helping each other. Or maybe you can say it's everybody's dependent on each other. We should feel gratitude and cherish for all the sentient beings.
