MCS Program

Q&A MCS Program
The Master of China Studies (MCS) is a MA-level degree program with a strong focus on China's political, economic, historical, and societal context. Its interdisciplinary curriculum encourages you to take an analytical approach and gain an in-depth understanding of China.
Students of the program can expect to gain business expertise with global perspective and intercultural competence through a solid theoretical foundation and excellent business experience.
Eligibility
01.
Non-Chinese citizens that meet the regulations set by No.210 [2008] Article issued by Exit-Entry Administration Office, Provincial Public Security Bureau, Zhejiang Province*;
02.
Minimum bachelor's degree in any given major;
03.
Applicants must have an internet-based TOEFL test score 90 or IELTS test score 6.5 (or above), or other proof which can reflect the applicants' English proficiency (except for English native speakers, or those who obtained their bachelors' degree in English-taught programs);
04.
No Chinese language proficiency is required for the program.

MCM Program

Q&A MCM Program
Created in collaboration with Zhejiang University College of Media and International Culture (CMIC) and building on the longstanding international teaching philosophy of Zhejiang University, MCM is an interdisciplinary program committed to training leaders who combine global vision, intercultural competence and understanding of China to position themselves as globally-competitive China business experts.
Graduates will be well-equipped to build successful careers in China in investment, management, international business, intercultural communication and other fields.

GCM Program

Q&A GCM Program
The GCM bachelor program is committed to training entrepreneurs and future business leaders who combine interdisciplinary knowledge, expertise in financial and business analysis, and a deep understanding of China's business environment.
Students will graduate with bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English, cross-cultural communication skills and a solid foundation of knowledge about China. They will be able to succeed in multinational corporations and Chinese enterprises in the fields of management, business, communications and marketing.
Eligibility

Under the age of 25;

Non-Chinese citizens that meet the regulations set by No.210 [2008] Article issued by Exit-Entry Administration Office, Provincial Public Security Bureau, Zhejiang Province*;
03.
If applicants' native language is not English, they should provide score report of English language test.
04.
English Language Entry Requirements: TOEFL (minimum 80), IELTS (minimum 5.5 in all skills) or other proof of proficiency.
TOEFL DI Code of Zhejiang University is C340. TOEFL MyBest score is accepted.

The program is dedicated to developing leaders with global vision, industry skills and impeccable professionalism.
Students will master principles of finance and information analysis, learn to skillfully apply financial theories to real-world settings, become deeply knowledgeable in cutting-edge industry trends in China and abroad and develop strong entrepreneurial and innovation skills.

Life at ZIBS
The ZJU international campus provides all students with a single room, dining service, gym service, sports court, swimming pools, library service, and a wide range of digital resources online.
You can also find a student bar, a cafe, a bakery, a small cinema, and plenty of activity and study space inside the new ZIBS building.
Haining Transport
ZIBS is in the city center of Haining, a vibrant city in Zhejiang province. It takes about an hour and a half to travel between the campus and airports in Shanghai or Hangzhou.
The school also runs a bus serviceeveryday. The Haining inter-city train is the most convenient way to travel and it runs from 6:30 in the morning to 10:30 at night.
Scholarship**
There are a variety of scholarships avaialble for international students. For GCM program, ZIBS Undergraduate Entrance Scholarship is available;
For MCS, MCM and iMF programs, CSC Scholarship, Zhejiang Government Scholarship and Hai Scholarship are available.
Application Processes
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, therefore you are encouraged to apply as early as possible. You would be invited to a 20-30 minutes interview with the admission selectors if you pass the first-round screening stage. The interview results would be released within 4 weeks. The official offer package would be issued in July 2022.

Located in the city of Haining and 80km from the ZJU main campus, the International Campus was officially inaugurated in October 2017.
The campus adopts a “1+X” approach, where ZJU partners with multiple world-renowned universities to develop new models of transnational education.
