《理论语言学五道口站》（2022年第05期，总第208期）继续与大家分享“Linguistics Flash-Mobs”系列线上会议。本次会议时间为2021年4月21日，主讲人为美国麻省理工学院教授David Pesetsky和奥地利维也纳大学教师Susanne Wurmbrand。两位参会者就“Complementation（补语化）”一题展开讨论。

About the speakers
人物简介
David Pesetsky
David Pesetsky,美国麻省理工学院现代语言和语言学专业教授，曾担任语言学和哲学系系主任。他发表了大量语言学相关主题的文章和著作，内容包括句法，词语结构和语言习得等。另外，他还是马萨诸塞州新爱乐乐团的第二小提琴手。目前，他正把语言学和音乐相结合，研究调性音乐的句法结构。
David Pesetsky is the professor of Modern Languages and Linguistics and former Head of the Department of Linguistics and Philosophy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has published numerous articles and books on a variety of topics in linguistics, including syntax, word-structure and language acquisition. Among his other activities, he is principal second violin in the New Philharmonia Orchestra of Massachusetts, and is currently combining his linguistic and musical interests with a project on the syntax of tonal music.
Susanne Wurmbrand
Susanne Wurmbrand，奥地利维也纳大学教师、美国哈佛大学的客座教授。主要研究兴趣是理论句法学，句法语义接口和语言变体。
Susanne Wurmbrand is a privatdozentin at Universität Wien and the visiting professor at Harvard University. She is interested in theoretical syntax, syntax-semantics interface, language variation.
