德企“用脚投票”！

近日，多家德国企业相继发布财报，同时也都透露了这样一个信息：继续增加对华投资，持续布局中国市场。


化工企业巴斯夫预计今年盈利将部分复苏。该公司表示，继去年收益大幅下降后，预计今年在华业务的增长将使其息税及特殊项目前利润从77亿欧元增至86亿欧元。巴斯夫首席执行官薄睦乐在声明中指出，“我们将有计划地推动在全球那些增长更为活跃、投资条件更具吸引力地区的业务发展。”


梅赛德斯-奔驰集团股份公司董事会主席康林松在发布企业季度业绩时表示，欧盟加大任何针对中国的保护主义举措力度，都将对欧洲这样的经济体造成破坏性影响。


康林松的表态代表了德国以及欧洲企业界的心声。中国德国商会最新发布的2023/24年度德企商业信心调查报告显示，566家会员企业中，超过九成受访企业计划继续扎根中国市场，过半受访企业计划在今后两年增加在华投资。这份报告认为，中国“对德国经济的意义依然是独一无二的”。


诸多数据与实例表明，德企正积极拥抱中国市场，“用脚投票”证明“去风险”“脱钩断链”不得人心。

电动航空运输将成现实

Electric Air Transport Will Become a Reality


在新加坡航展上展出的国防喷气式飞机、客机和高科技航空设备中，电动航空运输工具被称为城市交通的未来。
Among displays of defense jets, passenger airliners and high-tech aviation equipment at the Singapore Airshow were electric air transport vehicles — touted as the future of urban transportation.

在本届航空展上，一家做电动垂直起降飞行器——eVTOL的公司，希望为日益拥堵的城市提供一种新的空中交通方式。
At this year's air show, eVTOLs, a company that makes electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles, hopes to provide a new mode of transportation in the air for increasingly congested cities.

该公司表示，eVTOL可以用作空中出租车，或货物运输、医疗和应急运输工具，也可以用作私人空中车辆。
The company says eVTOLs which can be used as air taxis, for cargo delivery, medical and emergency response transportation and as private vehicles.

巴西航空工业公司旗下的Eve air mobility预计，到2026年，公司的eVTOL可以投入使用。韩国现代汽车集团旗下的Supernal公司则表示，预计其eVTOL2028年进入市场。
Eve air mobility, a unit of Embraer, expects its eVTOL to be ready for use by 2026. Supernal, a unit of South Korea's Hyundai Motor Group, said it expects its eVTOL to enter the market in 2028.

据市场研究公司Markets and Markets的数据，全球城市空中交通（UAM）市场，预计从2023年的38亿美元增长到2030年的285亿美元，期间复合年均增长率约为33.5%。
According to market research firm Markets and Markets, the global urban air mobility market is expected to grow from $3.8 billion in 2023 to $28.5 billion in 2030, with a CAGR of about 33.5 percent over the period.

Google CEO Said AI Can Help Defend Against Cybersecurity Threats


谷歌首席执行官桑达尔·皮查伊日前表示，人工智能的快速发展有助于加强对网络空间安全威胁的防御。
Rapid developments in artificial intelligence could help strengthen defenses against security threats in cyberspace, according to Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

皮查伊表示，人工智能缩短了防御者检测攻击并做出反应所需的时间。他表示，这将减少所谓的防御者困境，即网络黑客必须成功一次才能攻击系统，而防御者必须每次都成功才能保护系统。
Pichai said AI was lowering the time needed for defenders to detect attacks and react against them. He said this would reduce what’s known as the defenders’ dilemma, whereby cyber hackers have to be successful just once to attack a system whereas a defender has to be successful every time in order to protect it.

“人工智能正处于一个决定性的十字路口——政策制定者、安全专业人士和民间社会有机会最终将网络安全的平衡从攻击者倾斜到网络防御者。”皮查伊说。
“AI is at a definitive crossroads — one where policymakers, security professionals and civil society have the chance to finally tilt the cybersecurity balance from attackers to cyber defenders,” Pichai said.
