No More PCR for ALL China-Bound Passengers
On April 25th, Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Mao Ning hosted a routine press conference. Mao Ning announced that in order to further facilitate the exchanges between Chinese and foreign personnel, China will further optimize remote testing arrangements based on the principles of scientific precision, safety, and order.
Mao Ning introduced that starting from April 29th:
All travelers coming to China can replace nucleic acid testing with antigen testing within 48 hours before boarding, and
Airlines will no longer check the testing certificates before boarding.
At the same time, inbound and outbound personnel are reminded to properly manage their health and monitoring before departure, strictly comply with China's and local epidemic prevention requirements, and ensure healthy travel, enjoyable trips, and safe returns.
Mao Ning stated that China will continue to optimize epidemic prevention and control policies based on the pandemic situation, and better ensure the safe, healthy, and orderly exchanges of Chinese and foreign personnel.
