想象一下，在你的花园里有一扇精美的门作为雕塑，或者设计成一张桌子、甚至直接作成一扇门！ Go Out Doors 旨在通过在周围景观的背景下展示独立的户外绘画来促进我们与自然的联系同时增强我们在户外的艺术享受。 今年秋天，这些门（约 30 英寸 x 80 英寸）将在莱镇历史协会拍卖会上展出。 本地艺术家设计的艺术门拍卖起价 $100； 学生作品拍卖起价$50。拍卖前可前往以下地点预览和选择拍卖门：

A panel of Town Officials will discuss zoning changes to be proposed by the Planning Board at the upcoming Fall 2021 Special Town Meeting.
The panel will include Amanda Loomis, Planning Director; Sheila Page, Assistant Planning Director; Stella Carr, Sustainability Director; James Kelly, Building Commissioner; and Charles Hornig, Planning Board Chair and Moderator.
Several proposals will be presented and explained, addressing issues, including diversity, equity, and inclusion; housing; solar energy; and fences and walls. There will be time for Q & A following the presentations.

Bring the whole family to this free public fair in East Lexington, a tradiational fall celebration for all ages - full of food , music and fun!
In the 1840's the folks of East Lexington considered themselves a separate village center and called their part of town "East Village."
Pride in their village showed in the first fair, held in East Lexington in 1839 as a fundraiser fo the building of " A Chirstina Church at East Lexington," later Follen Community Church, completed in 1840. It was a two-day event, and the whole of East Village participated. In recent times the East Village Fair has become a joint celebration by several East Village and Lexington organization in addition to Follen Church.

Imagine having a beautifully painted door in your garden as a sculpture or in your house as a table, desk, or even a door! Get your virtual paddles ready - Bids for History, our fabulous online fundraising auction, is coming up fast! We will be offering an exciting array of unique goods and experiences ranging in value from $25 to priceless! From one-of-a-kind artwork and jewelry to tickets to special events and tours, there is something for everyone to be found, and we are so excited to share them with you. Our catalog will be available on September 29, 2021.
This fall those doors (approx. 30"x 80") are in the Lexington Historical Society auction. The minimum price for the doors designed by the adult painters is $100; the price for the student doors is $50. The catalogue is available Sept 29. The auction is open Friday, October 8 and closes 10/15.

The spirits of the Old Burying Ground are eager to bring Lexington's past back to life and share with you the tales of what brought them to the grave on this special candlelight tour. For ages 5 and up; some walking required. Tours cover half a mile and last approximately 45 minutes. Tours will depart every five minutes from Buckman Tavern between 6:30 and 7:15 PM.
