中国范儿 85 横琴：拨动大湾区旅游发展之弦

In the Pearl River Delta which is one of the most dynamic regions in China, a beautiful island, Hengqin，is located to the west of Pearl River estuary and the south of Zhuhai City and adjacent to Macao.

横琴的名字颇具诗意，历史上的横琴是并不相连的大横琴、小横琴两座小岛，像横卧在南海碧波上的两架古琴，千万年来，浪潮拍岸，海风吹拂，似乎是在碧波之上弹奏着亘古不灭的山海之歌，横琴因而得名。60-70年代，经过填海造陆，形成了今天陆地面积超过67平方公里的单一横琴岛。

Hengqin ,literally meaning horizontal qin in English, was formerly made of two islands, Dahengqin and Xiaohengqin, which look like two ancient Chinese qins making beautiful melodies with the sea waves and winds in the past thousands of years. After the land reclamation during the 1960s and 1970s, the two islands were connected and formed an island of 67 square kilometers.

曾经的横琴是一个以渔业为主的小岛，居民多以养蚝、打渔为生。它的发展与中国改革开放的进程紧密相连。1992年，横琴岛被定为广东扩大对外开放的四个重点开发区之一；2009年8月，横琴岛被纳入珠海经济特区范围；2015年3月，横琴被纳入广东自贸区范围；2019年4月，《横琴国际休闲旅游岛建设方案》发布，休闲旅游岛成了横琴发展的全新定位。

It used to be a fishing island where locals lived on raising oyster and fishing. Its development has been closely linked to the ongoing reform and opening up in China. In 1992, it’s designated as one of the four key development zones for further opening up in Guangdong. In August, 2009, Hengqin was included into Zhuhai Special Economic Zone and in March 2015, it’s included into Guangdong Free Trade Zone. In April 2019, with the release of Hengqin International Tourism Island Construction Plan, the land has its brand new vision of development.

在南海的烟波环绕之中，横琴的确是一个休闲旅游的好去处。这里气候温和，山清水秀。山、海、林、湿地、岸线等生态资源丰富多样。芒洲湿地、三叠泉、中心沟、相思瀑布等自然景观星布其间。这里出产的鲜蚝以肥美鲜嫩闻名于世，每到节假日，珠三角等地游客云集于此品尝岛上的鲜蚝风味。

Surrounded by the vast mists and ripples on the Souther China Sea, Hengqin is undoubtedly an ideal tourism destination. The mild climate, lush mountains and clear rivers create a great diversity of ecological resources including sea, mountain, forests, wetlands and coastal lines. Mangzhou Wetland, The Triple Springs, The Middle Creek and the Acacia Waterfall are the most popular tourist spots. The plump and fresh oysters here enjoy high popularity and attract a large number of visitors from the Pearl River Delta region on the weekends.

面积不大的小岛，也留下了不少历史的印迹。这里曾出土过4000多年前新石器时代的古人类遗迹，1000多年前宋元水军也曾鏖战于此。自然景观与人文印迹在此和谐交融。

The small island also keeps the many traces of the ancient history. The remains of the ancient humen from the Neolithic times more than 4000 years ago and the navy fighting battles more than 1000 years ago during Song and Yuan dynasties can be seen here, forming a great combination with the marvelous natural sceneries.

此外，位于岛南的长隆国际海洋度假区每年都吸引无数游客。中国国际马戏节、世界女子网球超级精英赛、环中国国际公路自行车赛等一系列国际赛事落户横琴，休闲度假旅游、文体旅游成了横琴旅游产业发展新的亮点。

Changlong International Ocean Report, located at the southern part of the Island, attracts numerous tourists every year. China International Circus Festival，The World Women Elite Tennis Tournament, Tour of China International Road Cycling and other international events are held here. Vacation resort and cultural-sport tourism have become new trend in Hengqin.

未来的横琴，将充分发挥与港澳联动发展的优势，助力粤港澳世界级旅游大湾区的建设。为澳门的发展提供广阔的地理空间，并通过澳门充分挖掘横琴与葡语国家、拉美国家在旅游、商贸等方面合作的潜力。依托广东自贸区，探索与“一带一路”共建国家在各领域的深入合作。到2035年，横琴将建成一个生态优美、景观丰富、配套完善、特色鲜明的国际休闲旅游岛。

In the new era, Hengqin is expected take its advantage of coordinated development with Hong Kong and Maocao to play a more important role in the construction of the world class Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. An economic extension of Macao, Hengqin is now eyeing the opportunity to reach greater cooperation in economy and trade with Portuguese speaking countries and Latin American regions. Taking use of Guangdong Free Trade Zone, the island is also endeavoring to build partnership with more One Belt and One Road countries. By the year 2035, Hengqin will become an international tourism island with superb natural environment, advanced service facilities and distinguishing characteristics.
